Hilario S. "Larry" Sumaya

On behalf of the Diamond Dogs Ski Club, I would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to those in our group who lost friends, family, and co-workers as we observe the second anniversary of the September 11 tragedy.

For those of us who fondly remember Larry Sumaya, one of the original “Diamond Dogs”, we will always miss his warmth, his smile, and his goodwill toward his fellow man. We miss him. Period.

It has been a very emotional day for some of us.  We each have our own, very personal ways of honoring the victims of that day -- and the great courage and heroism that followed.  We will always remember the bravery, and the families and friends who lost their lives.  We will always remember the resiliency and strength of the citizens of New York -- and the tremendous outpouring of support from around the world.

Please join me in remembering, and in looking forward with hope and optimism to the future.

Thanks,

Andy Jorgensen
